Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church of Lansdowne website. Everyone is welcome to share their individual spirituality in our church, in fellowship with your neighbors in the community. We have something very special in our church family that we believe stems from our love of God, radiating outward in love and respect of diversity for all God's children. "Reduce, reuse, recycle...RE:Purpose" Located in a cozy room on the bottom floor of the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church, corner of Greenwood and Lansdowne Avenues. Like many thrift stores, the Repurpose store is not for profit and takes in donations of all kinds and welcomes all people. Proceeds: split between the church's own Mission Fund to help finance the building of a church in Cameroon, Africa while the other half goes to a local organization in Darby, called Mother's Home, who strive to provide a safe haven for pregnant women in crisis. The prices very affordable and the quality of the donations is exceptional! Now accepting housewares donations! We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries.

-  Cake: Love, Chickens, and a taste of peculiar by Joyce Magnin. Joyce will be joining us to do a workshop for the kids (grades K – 6), to discuss her novel with the group and to sign books. Please let Rona know if you plan to join us. The book group members will provide a special treat for everyone!Saturday, June 1, 2013: Bingo Night! 7 p.m. at Lansdowne Presbyterian Church. Tickets $10 at the door. Cash prizes, Flat Screen TV and a Kindle. 50/50 drawing. Bring your friends, family, co-workers for a night of fun! Food, snacks and drinks. Sunday, June 9, 2013: Pentecost Picnic, immediately held after the service A-N bring a side dish O-Z bring desserts and/or drinks Moon bounce, volleyball, and good food to share!
